Prince Andrew Interview – Monique Giannelloni Speaks!
Since the car crash, Prince Andrew interview and him stepping down from all public duties a lot more things seem to be coming out about the Duke of York.
A FEMALE therapist has revealed how she gave the Duke of York a massage as he lay naked under a towel in his bedroom at Buckingham Palace after an ‘alarming’ lack of security.
Monique Giannelloni says she wasn’t searched and wasn’t asked to sign in after being introduced to Prince Andrew by Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged ‘fixer’ Ghislaine Maxwell. She doesn’t believe any background checks had been done on her — all she was asked for was her car registration.
Ms Giannelloni told MailOnline: ‘It was so easy to get into the Palace and it troubled me because I could have been anyone. I didn’t know Andrew and never met anyone from the royal household. Nobody knew me.
In the Prince Andrew interview, he did admit that it was a photo of him but said he could not remember it being taken.
‘I wasn’t spoken to by a royal protection officer or asked any questions at all. Nobody checked my bag when I arrived or when I left. I certainly expected more stringent security checks.’
Ms Giannelloni, who was a member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners, was working at a clinic in Kensington and doing home visits at the time of the royal booking on June 30, 2000.
She counted Ms Maxwell — who is accused of procuring young girls for paedophile Epstein, including Prince Andrew accuser Victoria Roberts Giuffre — among her clients. The duke denies ever having sex with Ms Roberts Giuffre.
She told how after one appointment Ms Maxwell said: ‘I am going to introduce you to someone more famous than God.’ Ms Giannelloni said: ‘When she told me about that person more famous than God, I thought she meant an actor or something. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be royalty.’
A few weeks later, Ms Giannelloni was called by Prince Andrew’s assistant private secretary Charlotte Manley, inviting her to the Palace. She recalled how when she got there she was ‘very nervous’.
The 55-year-old married mother-of-two, who now runs a restaurant in the South of France, said: ‘I am from South Africa and to be walking through Buckingham Palace would have been something I could never have imagined.
As I went along the hallway it was nothing but splendour. There were beautiful draped curtains and a plush carpet which ran along the middle of the hallway. There were gold-framed paintings of members of the royal family over the centuries and vases on tables. It was very grand.’
Ms Giannelloni said the prince greeted her at his bedroom door wearing a bathrobe. She gave him a massage on a table beside a photo of ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. Afterwards, she was paid by a Coutts and Co cheque for £75.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said: ‘We never comment on matters of security.’
