Im A Celebrity 2019 cast rumours from Maura Higgins to Freddie Flintoff
With autumn fast approaching, it’s only a couple of months now until we get our annual dose of jungle action in the shape of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
This year’s series will see Ant McPartlin return to host alongside Dec Donnelly (after Holly Willoughby stood in for him last year) – and of course, the speculation over who’ll be taking part in the show is rife.
Currently Maura Higgins is being heavily tipped to swap Love Island for jungle life – refusing to confirm or deny the rumours to us at the recent TV Choice Awards.
‘I’ve heard a lot of things that I’m supposedly meant to be going on and you know what, who knows?’ she said.
‘Right now I’m just taking every day as it comes and there are lots of exciting opportunities there but I can’t really comment on anything because I don’t really know.’
Maura’s Love Island colleague Amy Hart is also up there in the betting at 1/2 second favourite, while Commons Speaker John Bercow is tipped at 10/11, cricket legend David Gower is 5/6 and you can get evens on Corrie’s Alan Halsall joining the jungle line-up.
Meanwhile, having been forced to drop out of Strictly due to injury, Jamie Laing might just be eyeing up a place in camp instead – as he’s 5/4 to take part in the series.
‘It looks as though we could be set for the best ever series of I’m a Celeb if the latest rumoured names are anything to go by,’ said Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati.

As yet there’s no confirmed date for the start of the new series.
